About Me
So about me, well, where do I start. I'm an 18 year old fashion communication and promotion student at Nottingham Trent University with aspirations of a career in the creative industry. I've always been a girl for glitter and that didn't stop at the age of 10. I love theatre, netball, travelling, adventure and all things arty. I'm a people person and thrive in a fast paced, high pressured environment. I'm comfortable and confident working in a group or individually as I find the creative process of both methods equally inspiring.
As for what I do, I haven't yet found my specialism quite yet, as I love to experiment and find creative solutions whilst problem solving when working on anything from a graphic illustration to a constructed textile. Throughout my education I developed a diverse set of skills allowing me to be completely immersed in 3 creative A Levels.
Outside of the classroom, I've got stuck in with numerous activities and positions working on anything from directing and producing my own charity fashion show, to organising and managing the PR for a start up fashion brand Aesthetic Laundry.
What I aim to do with this blog is share my opinions, experiences and voice on a whole range of topics as I learn and develop my own style, skills and critical position within society. I hope you enjoy and maybe even join the conversation.
